Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly set an asking price of £34m plus add-ons for defender Jeremie Frimpong this summer, with Manchester United one of the clubs interested.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a productive season from right-back for the Bundesliga club this term, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in 34 league appearances.
Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have somewhat shared the responsibility on the right side of the United defence this campaign, although the potential arrival of the former Celtic man to Old Trafford could change that dynamic.
According to Metro, Bayer Leverkusen have set an asking price of £34m plus add-ons for Frimpong as the Red Devils and other European giants circle around the Dutchman.
The report adds that Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and La Liga winners Barcelona are considering a move for the right-back, with both sides looking to translate their domestic success into continental triumph next term.
It is understood that a host of United's current defenders could be on their way out of the club this summer, with the likes Harry Maguire and Alex Telles said to be available for transfers.
