Bruno Fernandes's proposed move from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United has reportedly stalled.
The 25-year-old, who played the full 90 minutes in Sporting's 2-0 defeat to Benfica on Friday night, was thought to be on the verge of completing a move to the 20-time English champions.
However, according to The Sun, the two clubs have still not come to an agreement over a transfer fee.
The report claims that United want to pay £34m with a further £25.5m in various add-ons, but the package relies on achievements such as the Red Devils winning the Champions League and Premier League.
Sporting are therefore allegedly keen to secure a higher down-payment to ensure that they get closer to their £60m valuation of the Portugal international.
Fernandes was expected to be at Anfield on Sunday afternoon to watch Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side face Liverpool in the Premier League.
However, the attacker, who has scored 15 times and registered 13 assists at club level this season, could be forced to wait to complete a move to Old Trafford.
