Manchester United are reportedly considering a January approach for Atalanta BC's Ederson.
The 24-year-old made the move to Atalanta from Salernitana in the summer of 2022, and he has represented the Italian side on 60 occasions, scoring six goals and registering two assists in the process.
This season, Ederson has featured on 23 occasions, scoring five times and registering one assist, and a number of clubs are believed to have been monitoring his form during the 2023-24 campaign.
According to Goal, Man United are admirers of the Brazilian and are currently weighing up the possibility of signing him before the end of the January transfer window.
The report claims that the 20-time English champions are yet to officially open talks with Atalanta, but they could 'send a proposal' before the winter market closes for business.

Ederson's representatives are believed to have been made aware of Man United's interest, but Atalanta are in a strong position when it comes to his future, as his contract is due to run until June 2026.
The South American started his professional career with Desportivo Brasil before representing Cruzeiro and Corinthians ahead of a switch to Salernitana in January 2022.
Ederson's performances for Salernitana in the second half of the 2021-22 campaign led to Atalanta purchasing him, and he played alongside now Man United forward Rasmus Hojlund last season.
The midfielder has scored four goals and registered one assist in 18 Serie A appearances this term, while he netted once in five outings in the group stage of the Europa League.

Man United have already allowed one midfielder to leave this month, with Donny van de Beek's loan switch to Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt being confirmed.
Hannibal Mejbri, meanwhile, is expected to soon sign a new deal at Old Trafford before leaving on loan.
Sofyan Amrabat is due to represent Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations, which will further deplete the team's midfield options, but both Casemiro and Mason Mount are due to back from injury this month.
The pair are thought to have a chance of being available for the team's next Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur, which comes on January 14.
Man United will not be able to spend heavily in the winter window due to the rules surrounding Financial Fair Play, but they are also thought to be exploring signing a striker on loan due to their problems in the final third.
