Paulo Dybala offered new Juventus contract

Juventus president Andrea Agnelli says that a new contract has been offered to Paulo Dybala, who has been heavily linked with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

President Andrea Agnelli has revealed that Juventus have offered a new contract to Paulo Dybala.

After finding himself in and out of the starting lineup under Andrea Pirlo, Dybala has been heavily linked with a switch to either Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur.

With just over 18 months remaining on his contract, it has been claimed that bids may be made for the Argentina international as early as the January transfer window.

However, Agnelli has indicated that the Italian champions have no plans to sell the playmaker, suggesting that he could captain the club in future years.

Agnelli told Tuttosport: "I've heard the statements, it's part of my job. The good news is the goal. Paulo had a difficult time after contracting COVID.

"I heard with great pleasure his love for Juventus. The love is reciprocated. We see him as the captain of the future. I know he has already received a proposal that would put him among the top 20 best-paid players in Europe."

Dybala has scored just twice this season, his most recent goal coming during the 3-1 win over Genoa at the weekend.
