Real Madrid are reportedly not in a financial position to make a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Agent Mino Raiola stated earlier this week that the France international's time at Old Trafford "is over".
Pogba has 18 months to run on his contract and Raiola is hopeful that his client can find a new club in 2021.
Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked, but the Daily Mail claims that Los Blancos are not realistically in contention to sign the 27-year-old.
The Spanish side's chief executive Jose Angel Sanchez is said to be in the process of asking players to consider a pay cut, effectively ruling out a move for £270,000-a-week midfielder Pogba.
The same report indicates that Rennes youngster Eduardo Camavinga is still a target for Madrid, but that deal is part of a longer-term process.
