Report: Atletico Madrid make Arturo Vidal approach

A report claims that Atletico Madrid have approached Juventus over a move for Chilean international Arturo Vidal.

Atletico Madrid have reportedly approached Juventus over a move for Arturo Vidal.

The Chilean international, who is currently with his national team ahead of the World Cup, is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in European football.

A host of clubs, including Barcelona and Manchester United, have been linked with a move, but according to AS, Atletico have also now entered the race.

Atletico will have money to spend this summer following their success on the field last season and the expected departure of Diego Costa to Chelsea.

Vidal is valued in the region of £36m by his club.
