Report: Real Madrid preparing Robin van Persie move

A report claims that Real Madrid are lining up a £20m January move for Manchester United forward Robin van Persie.

Real Madrid are reportedly lining up a £20m January move for Manchester United forward Robin van Persie.

The Dutchman has scored 48 goals in 76 games for United since making the move from Arsenal, including 26 league goals in their title-winning 2012-13 campaign.

However, the former Arsenal striker now faces a fight to retain his spot in the team following the arrival of Radamel Falcao from Monaco.

According to Football Espana, FIFA agent Francois Gallardo has claimed that Los Blancos have identified Van Persie as their top priority.

Fenerbahce have also been linked with a move.
