Scott McTominay is reportedly in line to receive a new contract at Manchester United following a string of impressive performances this season.

Scott McTominay will reportedly receive a new contract at Manchester United following a string of impressive performances this season.

The 22-year-old was heavily championed by former United boss Jose Mourinho, who gave him his debut in April 2017.

Since Mourinho's departure, McTominay has gone from strength to strength, playing a crucial role in United's midfield across 18 appearances in all competitions this season.

According to The Sun, McTominay's performances will be rewarded with a new contract that doubles his wages to £60,000 a week.

The Scotland international penned a contract with United back in January until 2023 and was told that continued progression on the pitch would be rewarded with a bumper deal.
