Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal 'interested in Manchester United's Eric Bailly'

Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly is reportedly ready to leave the club in January, sparking interest from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have reportedly emerged as potential suitors for out-of-favour Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly.

Bailly has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford following last month's defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, being left out of the starting lineup in each of United's last three games.

The Mirror reports that the Ivory Coast international is now ready to leave the club in January in search of more regular football, sparking interest from some top-six rivals.

North London duo Tottenham and Arsenal are thought to be monitoring the situation and could make a move should Bailly fail to regain his place in the side before the transfer window reopens in January.

The 24-year-old joined United for £30m in 2016, but he has made only 37 Premier League starts for the club during that time.
