Goalkeeper Matz Sels has left Newcastle United to join Anderlecht on a season-long loan deal.
Last summer, Newcastle paid Gent a fee of £5m for Sels's signature, and he initially found himself as first-choice stopper at St James' Park.
However, he did not make an appearance in the Championship after the end of September, and the Magpies have made the decision to allow him to gain regular football back in Belgium.
Rafael Benitez has plenty of options between the sticks, with Rob Elliot, Karl Darlow and Freddie Woodman all in the picture at the North-East outfit.
It has been reported that the Spaniard is still looking for another stopper, with Napoli's Pepe Reina said to be on his radar.
