Newcastle United are reportedly at the front of the queue for Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott.
Since joining the Robins from FC Guernsey in 2020, Scott has gone on to make 80 appearances across all competitions, registering five goals and seven assists.
The 19-year-old has been a regular feature in Nigel Pearson's side this season, starting 32 of the club's 33 league games.
Scott was part of the England side that won the Under-19 European Championship in 2022, and he has also made five appearances for the Under-20 side at international level.

Wolves were keen on signing the youngster, but they were not prepared to meet Bristol City's £25m asking price.
While a move away from Ashton Gate did not materialise in January, Bristol City are bracing themselves for more offers when the transfer window re-opens in the summer.
According to Football Insider, Newcastle are one of several Premier League clubs that are preparing a summer move.
The report claims that the Magpies are currently leading the race ahead of the likes of Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Wolves.

Newcastle's willingness to loan Scott straight back to the Championship side for the 2023-24 campaign could give them an advantage over their competition.
Scott, who is under contract until June 2025, will have the chance to impress against the Premier League champions when the Robins face Manchester City in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Tuesday.
The midfielder scored his first FA Cup goal in the previous round against West Bromwich Albion, helping his side claim a 1-0 victory.
After losing the EFL Cup final to Manchester United on Sunday, Newcastle will also face Man City this week when they travel to the Etihad Stadium for Saturday's Premier League clash.
