Nottingham Forest midfielder Ben Osborn jokes about how his friends - who support Derby County - asked him not to score the winning goal in the East Midlands derby.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Ben Osborn has joked about how his friends asked him not to score the winning goal in the East Midlands derby on Saturday.

The 20-year-old England youth international - who was born in Derby - went on to do just the opposite, grabbing his first senior goal in injury time to secure a 2-1 win for the City Ground side.

Osborn told Sky Sports News after the game: "All my mates are Derby fans. I was getting messages from them last night saying, 'Don't score the winner!'"

Forest climb to 11th in the Championship table following the derby win.
