Nottingham Forest fight back from two down to beat Watford

Nottingham Forest come back from two goals down to beat Watford 4-2 in the Championship.

Nottingham Forest came back from two goals down to beat Watford 4-2 in the Championship this evening.

Watford took a two-goal lead through Gabriele Angella's brace, before Billy Davies's three substitutes all scored to give the home the side the win at the City Ground.

Angella's first gave the visitors the lead just after the half-hour mark, when he flicked the ball up with his back to goal before catching it on the volley.

The Italian then added his second two minutes after the restart when he headed past Karl Darlow in the Forest goal after some slack defending from the home side.

However, Forest began their fightback through Simon Cox when the forward grabbed one back just before the hour mark after sweeping the ball home.

Davies's side equalised through Darius Henderson when the burly striker headed in from Andy Reid's pass on 73 minutes.

Forest's turnaround was complete when Jamie Mackie scored with eight minutes of normal time left before Cox added his second late on to give their promotion push a shot in the arm.
