Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen has signed a new four-year contract with the Championship club.
The 25-year-old's current deal was due to expire at the end of the season and a host of Championship clubs were said to be monitoring proceedings.
However, the former West Ham United midfielder, who has recently returned from a knee injury, has committed his future to the club.
Chairman Omar Al Hasawi told the club's official website: "Chris is an ambitious player and wants to play at the very highest level.
"We share his ambition for Nottingham Forest and it is fantastic news that he wants to play a key role in the future of our great club."
Cohen joined Forest from Yeovil Town in 2007.
