Marco Verratti's agent believes that Italian clubs cannot afford to sign the midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 20-year-old joined the French club from Pescara last summer for €12m (£10m).
"It's all just talk for now," Donato di Campli told Radio Kiss Kiss. "The boy is at PSG, he wants to stay and is part of the project.
"His future in Paris is not tied to that of coach Carlo Ancelotti. It would be very hard to see Marco back in Italy. Only a few clubs could buy him and even fewer could afford his wages."
Verratti has made 21 appearances in Ligue 1 and seven in the Champions League for PSG this season.
