Paris Saint-Germain identify Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz as a possible replacement for Neymar, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly identified Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz as a possible replacement for Neymar.

The French champions managed to keep Neymar out of the clutches of Barcelona and Real Madrid during the summer transfer window, but there remains huge speculation surrounding the Brazilian's future.

According to Le10Sport, PSG are preparing for life after the 27-year-old, and the club have identified Havertz as a possible replacement for the South American.

Havertz scored 20 times in 42 appearances for Leverkusen during the 2018-19 campaign, while he has also netted twice in four outings for his Bundesliga club this season.

Thomas Tuchel's side would seemingly face huge competition for the 20-year-old, however, as Real Madrid, Barca and Bayern Munich are also all reportedly interested in his services.

Liverpool, though, are not believed to be in the running for the German despite widely being linked with a move over the last 12 months.
