Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has reportedly failed a fitness test ahead of the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid on Wednesday evening.
The Spanish international has missed the last couple of weeks with a fractured pelvis, but behind the scenes, it is understood that Barca were hopeful of having the centre-back fit and available.
However, according to Rac1, Pique failed a fitness test earlier this afternoon and will therefore play no part in the final at the Mestalla in Valencia.
It is understood that Carlos Puyol could start alongside Javier Mascherano in central defence if Marc Bartra also misses out.
