Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he is "not happy" with just one point from four games against title rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madrid this season.
Los Blancos have twice been beaten by Barcelona in La Liga this season, while they drew away at Atletico after losing to their capital rivals at the Bernabeu earlier in the season.
"It's clear that I'm not happy about that, because we have a very competitive team. But I think the table doesn't lie and we're still at the top of the league still," he told reporters at a press conference.
"It's hard to explain why this happens; I think we're very competitive, Real Madrid are one of the best teams in the world and we're going to show that until the end of the season.
"I think we only didn't compete well – against Atletico at home, when we had problems and deserved to lose, and one half against Barcelona, but in the last two games, against Atleti away and this game against Barca, the game was very even. It's hard to explain, but I think you have to be objective. We didn't compete, but the games after were very even."
The top three in Spain are all in action on Wednesday evening.
