Zinedine Zidane demands improvement from Real Madrid

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane calls for improvements from his side, despite a 3-0 win being recorded over Eibar on Sunday night.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has described his side's 3-0 victory over Eibar on Sunday night as "satisfactory".

The La Liga champions registered their fourth league win in a row to move up to third place in the standings, and Zidane has acknowledged the importance of not losing any more ground on leaders Barcelona.

However, the Frenchman has admitted that Real are still to move into top gear, with the coach demanding better quality on the ball in future matches.

The 45-year-old told Marca: "3-0 is a good result. We did well in defence and I come away with the feeling that it was not all perfect, but satisfactory. It was important to get the three points today.

"Perhaps the fluency was lacking. We can be better, with the ball we can be better. In the end we made a lot of changes and sometimes you have to realise you cannot do everything perfectly."

Real's next top-flight game is scheduled for Sunday when the club travel to Girona.
