Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Real Madrid on Friday, July 17.

The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Real Madrid eye possible reinforcements.

Florentino Perez oversaw a significant overhaul of his squad during the summer before focusing more on youth in January. As is always the case with Madrid, though, some of the biggest names in football continue to be linked.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news of possible comings and goings at the Bernabeu.

Friday morning's Real Madrid transfer talk news roundup:

Manchester City 'agree personal terms with Ferran Torres'

Manchester City have reportedly agreed personal terms with Valencia attacker Ferran Torres ahead of a proposed move during this summer's transfer window.

The 20-year-old has been in impressive form for Los Che during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring six times and contributing eight assists in 43 appearances in all competitions.

The attacker's contract at the Mestalla is due to expire next summer, though, and his future has been the subject of much speculation over the last few months.

Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus are among the clubs to be credited with an interest in the Spain Under-21 international, but according to Eurosport, Torres has agreed personal terms with City.

The report claims that the youngster's representatives met with the Premier League giants on Wednesday, where a 'total agreement' was reached 'on the terms of the deal'.

Torres has managed four goals and five assists in 33 La Liga outings this term.

Kai Havertz 'chooses Chelsea over Real Madrid, Manchester United'

Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz is reportedly ready to snub both Real Madrid and Manchester United to join Chelsea during this summer's transfer window.

The speculation surrounding the Germany international continues to gather pace as he is widely expected to leave BayArena ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

A number of clubs, including Madrid and United, have been linked with the playmaker, but according to Kicker, the 21-year-old has informed Leverkusen that he wants to join Chelsea.

Havertz enjoyed an excellent 2019-20 campaign for his German club, scoring 17 times and registering nine assists in 43 appearances in all competitions.

Chelsea are allegedly preparing to make a £62m offer for the German, although Leverkusen are in a relatively strong position to negotiate as the attacker still has two years left to run on his contract.

The Blues have already boosted their attack ahead of next season by completing deals for Morocco international Hakim Ziyech and Germany striker Timo Werner.
