Neymar, Kylian Mbappe 'will not push for Real Madrid moves'

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly confident of keeping both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe after being given assurances that they will not push for a move to Real Madrid.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly received assurances from both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe that they will not push for a move to Real Madrid this summer.

Madrid are expected to undergo a major overhaul of their squad when the transfer window reopens following a poor season which has left them effectively playing for just pride from March onwards.

Zinedine Zidane's return as manager is understood to have come with the proviso that huge transfer funds will be made available in the summer, leading to speculation that they will embark on another 'Galactico' era.

Neymar and Mbappe are both understood to be on Madrid's radar, with Mbappe the preferred choice for Zidane, but ESPN reports that PSG are now confident of keeping their star assets.

Neither player has a minimum release clause in their contract, and it would take a world-record bid of more than the £198m which took Neymar to Paris before PSG even consider selling.

PSG will need to sell players this summer due to Financial Fair Play restrictions, but they have no plans to allow their key men to leave and will instead raise funds by trimming the fringe players from their squad.
