Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has played down speculation over his future by insisting that he wants to sign a contract extension at the club.
The Germany international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish capital, with Bayern Munich reported to have agreed a deal to sign him when his Blancos deal expires in the summer.
The 27-year-old has also courted interest from Arsenal, but Kheidra says that he is more than happy to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu beyond the expiration of his existing contract.
In an interview with German publication Stuttgarter Nachrichten, Khedira said: "If we can reach a solution, I'll be very happy,"
Khedira joined the Spanish giants from Stuttgart in 2010.
