Jagoba Arrasate admits struggles

Real Sociedad boss Jagoba Arrasate admits that his side are in need of a positive result against Cordoba.

Real Sociedad boss Jagoba Arrasate has refused to put pressure on himself ahead of this weekend's key La Liga clash with Cordoba.

It is understood that defeat against the newly-promoted club could see Arrasate relieved of his duties with the Basque outfit.

However, Arrasate is confident that he will turn their form around.

"I've always talked with the president and been encouraged by the people around me. I want to win to move up the League regardless of what has been written. To get out of this situation we need home and away wins. We're in a situation where we need a lot out of the matches," he told reporters.

"There is no magic wand and we won't win simply by naming a different XI. I understand some changes are needed and we have to let go a little more.

"I won't say I'm calm because the team's situation isn't good but it's better to analyse things from a position of comfort. I'm thinking about how to move forward."

Sociedad currently sit 16th in La Liga with just five points from their eight matches.
