New York Red Bulls have sacked coach Mike Petke after two seasons in charge.
The 38-year-old was appointed coach in 2013 following a two-year spell as assistant.
Petke helped the Red Bulls win the Supporters' Shield during his first season in charge.
"On behalf of the New York Red Bulls, I want to thank Mike for his service to the club these past two seasons as head coach," sporting director Ali Curtis is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "Mike will always be an important member of the Red Bull family."
Former USA international Petke had a brief spell as a player with New York Red Bulls before announcing his retirement in 2010.
