Seeking to extend their unbeaten run to a tenth game on Saturday, Campeonato Brasileiro leaders Palmeiras visit local rivals Sao Paulo at Estadio do Morumbi.
Having collapsed to a 5-1 defeat last time out in the league, their struggling hosts languish in the Serie A drop zone, as the pressure grows on head coach Hernan Crespo.
We say: Sao Paulo 0-2 Palmeiras
While they may have improved in recent weeks - things could hardly get worse, after all - Sao Paulo are mired in a terrible spell of form domestically and their confidence is paper-thin.
Palmeiras, meanwhile, are progressing serenely in all competitions, and they should have few problems in securing maximum points on Saturday to extend their rivals' woes.

Internacional vs. Cuiaba (Sunday, 12.00am)

Separated by just one place and two points in the Serie A standings, Internacional welcome Cuiaba to Porto Alegre on Sunday, with both sides hovering just above the drop zone.
After a difficult week, in which they crashed out of continental competition and lost away to Athletico Paranaense, the hosts will hope their visitors' confidence has been dented by a midweek defeat that ended a four-match unbeaten run.
We say: Internacional 1-1 Cuiaba
Already lacking firepower up front, Internacional must deal with a raft of injuries and suspensions among their attacking department, so are unlikely to spring into life this week - even against a Cuiaba side which leaks plenty of goals.
Inter's malaise is set to continue into the new month, then, while their visitors will happily snap up a precious point in their quest for a second shot at Serie A next term.

Bragantino vs. Gremio (Sunday, 1.00am)

After their 14-game unbeaten run finally came to an end last week, Campeonato Brasileiro title-chasers Bragantino host lowly Gremio on Sunday.
While a series of draws has seen the hosts' early-season momentum stall, the visiting side have put together three games without defeat to drag themselves off the foot of the Serie A table.
We say: Bragantino 1-1 Gremio
Demonstrating sterner stuff since the appointment of former Selecao supremo Luiz Felipe Scolari, improving Gremio can pick up another point to frustrate upwardly mobile Bragantino.
The hosts have struggled to finish off opponents of late - having drawn five of their last eight outings - and a first league defeat of the season is sure to have dented confidence further; helping their visitors add another goal to their slim pickings so far.
