Yevhen Konoplyanka's former teammate Matheus has claimed that the Sevilla new boy is comparable to Eden Hazard and Neymar.
The highly-rated midfielder, 25, joined the Spanish side on a Bosman following the expiration of his Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk contract earlier this month.
Matheus, who played alongside him at Dnipro for four years, claims that Konoplyanka is a fusion of Hazard and Neymar, and says that he will take Spain by storm.
"Kono has what it takes to be like Hazard and Neymar," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "He has the ability to do well in Spain or in any other European league.
"He's like Hazard and Neymar - the type of player who can win games in an instant with a spectacular bit of football."
Newcastle United were among those reportedly vying for the Ukrainian international's signature, prior to his joining Sevilla.
