Sevilla have confirmed that on-loan Manchester City attacker Samir Nasri picked up a hamstring injury in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Sporting Gijon in La Liga.
The Frenchman pulled up in the latter stages of the first period and Sevilla are currently waiting on a scan to determine the extent of the 29-year-old's problem.
"The Frenchman Samir Nasri is waiting for MRI scans in 24-48 hours due to possible muscle damage in his left hamstring at the end of the first half," read a statement on Sevilla's official website.
Nasri, who moved to Spain on a season-long loan in the summer, has scored twice in nine appearances for Sevilla this season.
