Lewis Holtby: 'We haven't scored enough goals'

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby admits that the White Hart Lane outfit haven't scored enough goals this season.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby has insisted that he expects his side to score more goals when the club's new signings have settled at White Hart Lane.

Spurs have scored just nine goals in 11 Premier League fixtures, but while Holtby has admitted that they need to become more prolific in attack, he believes that the club's supporters will see an improvement as the season progresses.

The 23-year-old told Sky Sports News: "We have only scored nine goals in the Premier League this season, and with the quality that we have in our side, I don't think that is enough.

"We're still improving and trying to find ourselves, because we had a lot of signings during the summer."

Holtby has netted once in 13 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this season.
