Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that he is not willing to rush Harry Kane back into action ahead of schedule despite seeing Tottenham Hotspur struggle for goals of late.
The Lilywhites have scored only three times in their last five games, two of which have come from the penalty spot, and have failed to win any of those matches.
Spurs' disappointing run of form coincides with star striker Kane's absence from the team through injury but, with the Englishman only rated as 50-50 to feature against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Wednesday, Pochettino is not about to start panicking.
"Me, I never panic, not in football," he is quoted as saying by The Telegraph. "Sometimes I am scared to walk on the street because you never know if there are crazy people out there, but in football never."
Kane, who has top-scored in Tottenham's last two seasons, made five appearances prior to suffering ankle ligament damage in the win over Sunderland last month.
