Benoit Assou-Ekotto has revealed that he joined Queens Park Rangers on loan for the chance to work with manager Harry Redknapp again.
The full-back, who is on a season-long long deal from Tottenham Hotspur, previously played under Redknapp when the 66-year-old was in charge at White Hart Lane.
"I'm enjoying being here," Assou-Ekotto told the club's official website. "I love working with Harry. He was the main reason I came here.
"The supporters have been great to me as well. It's really important for us to feel the love and support of our fans.
"They are our 12th man, so it's important that we give them something to shout about."
QPR, who are currently in third place in the Championship table, return to league action on Saturday when they travel to Reading.
