Leicester, Everton to rival Tottenham for Danny Ings?

Leicester City and Everton join Tottenham Hotspur in the hunt to sign Southampton striker Danny Ings, according to a report.

Leicester City and Everton have reportedly both joined the race for Danny Ings as the striker continues to be linked with a move away from Southampton.

The England international has again been in impressive form for the Saints during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring seven times in 13 Premier League appearances, while he has netted 40 goals in 82 outings for the club in all competitions since arriving from Liverpool, initially on loan.

The 28-year-old's existing deal at St Mary's is due to expire next summer, though, and Tottenham Hotspur have recently been credited with an interest in his services.

According to 90min, Leicester and Everton are also in the hunt for the forward, who has rejected his current side's latest offer of a new four-year contract.

Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is still hopeful that his club can convince Ings to pen fresh terms, but the forward is thought to be aware of the growing interest in his services.

The Englishman played 85 minutes of his team's 1-0 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
