Vincent Janssen is edging closer to a Tottenham Hotspur move after the Premier League club and AZ Alkmaar reportedly agreed an £18.8m fee.

Vincent Janssen is reportedly due to undergo a medical at Tottenham Hotspur this week after the club increased their offer to AZ Alkmaar.

Negotiations between the two parties have been ongoing for some time, but AZ sporting director Max Huiberts recently claimed that they had rebuffed a bid from the Premier League side.

It was speculated that Mauricio Pochettino's club had failed with a £17m offer, and according to Sky Sports News, the North London outfit have since increased the bid to £18.8m, which has been accepted.

Janssen ended last season as the Eredivisie's top scorer with 27 goals.
