Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a summer move for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.
Gomes joined Everton on loan from Barca ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
The Portugal international has been impressive form for the Toffees this season, and the Merseyside club's head coach Marco Silva recently revealed that he was desperate to sign the midfielder on a permanent deal.
According to The Telegraph, though, Tottenham are keen to beat their Premier League rivals to the 25-year-old, who has contributed one goal and two assists in 26 appearances for Everton this term.
Gomes joined Barca from Valencia in the summer of 2016 and made 78 appearances for the Spanish champions before heading for the Premier League.
Tottenham are expected to splash the cash heading into the 2019-2020 campaign following a quiet period in the transfer market.
