Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly opened up an 'initial dialogue' with Harry Kane over a new contract.
The 27-year-old has again been in impressive form for Spurs during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 17 times and contributing 14 assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.
Kane's current deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is due to run until June 2024, but a recent report claimed that Manchester City are lining up a big-money summer offer.
According to The Independent, amid suggestions of interest from City and Paris Saint-Germain, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wants to hand Kane a new and improved contract.
The report claims that no formal talks have taken place, but there have been initial discussions, and the England captain is open to the idea of penning another deal with the London giants.
Kane has scored 205 goals in 311 appearances for Spurs in all competitions.
