Asmir Begovic has revealed that he does not intend to rush talks with Stoke City regarding a new contract.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper will have just 12 months left to run on his current deal when the season comes to an end.
Speculation about a possible move elsewhere has emerged as a result of his contract ticking down, but the shot-stopper has suggested that he is happy to stay with the Potters.
"We'll do the talking in the next couple of months going into the summer and then see where we are," the Stoke Sentinel quotes Begovic as saying.
"I let my representatives and the club's hierarchy deal with most of these kinds of things and see if we can come to an agreement. I've obviously had a great time here. I'm enjoying myself, so let's see what we can do."
Recently, the club's chief executive Tony Scholes revealed that the Premier League outfit are "very keen" to keep Begovic at the Britannia.
