The agent of Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has distanced his client from a move to Serie A side Napoli.
Partenopei were said to be weighing up a swoop for the Belgian stopper earlier in the week, but his representative Kristof Vandersmissen said that he has not been in contact with the Naples-based outfit.
"Napoli interested in Mignolet? I have also read this news, but personally I have had no contact with Napoli or any other Italian clubs," Vandersmissen told tuttomercatoweb.com.
"Simon has a contract for another two years with Sunderland and it's normal that clubs are interested. That is proof that he is doing well.
"However, I repeat, he has a contract with Sunderland."
Arsenal are also believed to be tracking Mignolet, with Arsene Wenger thought to be keen on finding a new number one.
