Juan Roman Riquelme makes Boca Juniors return

Juan Roman Riquelme signs for Argentine club Boca Juniors for a third time.

Juan Roman Riquelme has signed with Argentine club Boca Juniors for the third time in his career.

The 34-year-old attacking midfielder left the team acrimoniously in the summer following a four-year spell.

Riquelme, who has been voted Argentina's Player of the Year on four separate occasions, started his career at La Bombonera in 1996 before a move to Barcelona in 2002.

He then spent six years in Spain with Barca and Villarreal until he returned to Boca for the first time in 2008.

Riquelme has won four Copa Libertadores and three Aperturas during his previous spells with the club.
