West Bromwich Albion caretaker manager Darren Moore says that he has "not even looked at the points tally" as he attempts to keep his side in the Premier League.

Stand-in boss Darren Moore has insisted that he has not even worked out the various permutations required for West Bromwich Albion to beat the Premier League drop.

The Baggies ended a nine-match losing run in the top flight by playing out a 1-1 draw with fellow strugglers Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

Despite picking up a first point in 10 weeks, Albion remain 10 points adrift of safety with just 15 left to play for, meaning that they will need to return victorious from their trip to Manchester United next weekend.

Moore, brought in to replace sacked manager Alan Pardew earlier this week, is simply taking things one game at a time.

"I've not even looked at the points tally or what's available," he told reporters at his post-match press conference. "I know it's a cliche, but one game at a time.

"That's the way we approached this one and we've got a point from it. Next week poses a big enough problem in itself, but we'll get the players back on the training ground, work again, and try to find a plan and a structure that is going to be effective."

Moore also said that he hopes to have skipper Jonny Evans back available for selection at Old Trafford following his injury absence against the Swans.
