Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler has insisted that he is happy with the depth in his squad, despite having lost midfielder Ben Watson for the rest of the season with a double leg break.
Rosler said that the loss of Watson will be balanced by the return of several players, including Markus Holgersson and Thomas Rogne who are close to coming back.
"In defence, we're getting more and more options," Sky Sports News quotes Rosler as saying. "Markus Holgersson and Thomas Rogne played another 90 minutes in our development team and Ivan Ramis has undergone a very strict fitness regime.
"Overall I'm pleased with what I have at my disposal, we have certain options. Callum McManaman had a kick on the ankle, this is why he was not involved at all against Barnsley. But he will be ready for Brighton & Hove Albion."
Wigan are currently seventh in the Championship.
