Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Michael Jacobs has been named as one of four footballers nominated for League One's player of the month award for February.
Four goals in three games have ensured a place for Jacobs in the list of nominees, with two of them sealing victory against Notts County, while one goal contributed to a 3-0 win over Brentford.
Rotherham United midfielder Lee Frecklington, who has become stand-in captain for the club, is also in contention for the award following impressive displays all across the pitch during February's fixtures.
Gary Jones has also made the list after inspiring Bradford City to pivotal results, one of which included two long-range strikes from the midfielder in a 3-3 draw against Crewe Alexandra.
A vital triple save against Coventry City and an impressive effort against Preston North End could edge the outcome in the favour of Tranmere Rovers goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams. The shot-stopper also helped his side secure a 1-0 victory over MK Dons.
The winner will be announced on Friday, March 7.
