Kenny Jackett: 'We deserved our win'

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett feels that his side were fully deserving of their 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at Molineux.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has hailed his side's second-half display during the 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.

A 20-yard effort from Kevin McDonald and a double from Benik Afobe guided Wolves to an emphatic win over the Terriers, but Jackett has acknowledged that they were second best for the majority of the opening 45 minutes.

The 53-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It was a very good second-half performance. I thought Huddersfield started better than us and they created more chances than us early on, and generally looked better on the ball.

"In the second half, though, we came into our own and created a lot of chances. I thought that we deserved our win."

Wolves have moved into sixth position in the Championship standings.
