Walter Zenga happy to work with big squad at Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Walter Zenga suggests that he is planning to rotate his first-team squad throughout this season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Walter Zenga has suggested that he is keen to work with a big squad at Molineux.

Since arriving at the Championship club, Zenga has signed seven new players and he continues to be linked with more acquisitions ahead of the end of the transfer window.

Wolves also have players scheduled to return from injury in the coming months but Zenga has insisted that he has no problem with accommodating each member of the team.

The Italian is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "If I request to the club to buy 20 players, I have at least two players for every position, I have to use them. Especially when we have an injury like [Lee] Evans, and consider the season is 46 games, plus EFL Cup, plus FA Cup, somebody going in the national team.

"The more options you have the more solutions you have. The players must understand it's better to play 20 games and achieve something, than play 35 and finish 14th in the ranking."

Wolves are currently unbeaten in the league and travel to top-of-the-table Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.
