The visitors started brightly and were rewarded after three minutes with Chris Dean's try. Patrick Ah Van kicked the extras to give his team a 6-0 lead.

They were 12-0 ahead minutes later thanks to Dave Allen's score, before the Wolves got on the scoresheet after 21 minutes through Chris Bridge's score. Brett Hodgson kicked over the first of seven kicks to bring his side to within six points.

Warrington stretched their lead before the break thanks to tries from Bridge and Chris Riley.

Hodgson and Ryan Atkins both touched down before the hour, while Brad Dwyer added another try on 73 minutes.

Hodgson went over again on 77 minutes before Riley sealed his hat-trick with the last action of the match.
