Cardiff Blues hooker Kristian Dacey has signed a new contract with the Pro12 club.

The long-term extension will see the 24-year-old Welshman stay with the Blues until 2017.

"It's been a fantastic season for me and signing the new contract is ideal as I can now look forward to my future being at Blues," Dacey told the club's official website.

"I've come through the system here, played alongside my teammates for years and always wanted to stay here."

Dacey has scored four tries in eight games for Cardiff so far this season.
