England head coach Stuart Lancaster has denied that has contacted Andy Farrell asking him to join the national team's coaching staff ahead of their summer tour to South Africa.
Farrell, 37, quit his post as Saracens head coach this morning, resulting in speculation linking him with a return to the England set-up.
However, Lancaster has insisted that he has not spoken to Farrell, and will not be making any changes to his coaching team.
The Rugby Football Union said via Twitter: "Lancaster confirms he has not spoken to Andy Farrell and there will no changes to his coaching set-up for South Africa tour."
Farrell, who was part of the England set-up for this year's Six Nations, originally turned down a permanent post with the national side when Lancaster was officially appointed.
