Chris Robshaw named Player of the Season

Chris Robshaw takes the top award at the Aviva Premiership Rugby Awards, where Owen Farrell, Jonny May, Tom Homer and Rob Miller are also recognised.

England and Harlequins captain Chris Robshaw has been named as the Player of the Season at the Aviva Premiership Rugby Awards in London.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a fantastic year, leading the Middlesex side to the top of the Premiership table and steering Stuart Lancaster's England to four wins in five Six Nations matches.

Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell claimed the Under-21 Player of the Season award, while Gloucester full-back Jonny May won the Try of the Season gong for his solo effort against Quins in February.

London Irish's Tom Homer won the Golden Boot for his 253-point haul. Sale Sharks' uncapped fly-half Rob Miller took the Top Try Scorer of the Season award after making 10 touchdowns.
