Leicester Tigers have announced the capture of Jack Roberts from Championship club Rotherham Titans.

The 22-year-old centre, who scored 12 tries in 36 games last season, helped the Titans reach the Championship playoffs in the previous campaign.

Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill told the club's official website: "Jack is a young and ambitious player who we have seen play well in Championship company for Rotherham.

"Now he has an opportunity to take that potential into an Aviva Premiership club and we look forward to working with him."

Roberts has represented Wales at Under-16 and Under-18 level.
