Newport Gwent Dragons trio sign new deals

Newport Gwent Dragons trio Ross Wardle, Jack Dixon and Dan Way all sign contract extensions with the Welsh club.

Newport Gwent Dragons trio Ross Wardle, Jack Dixon and Dan Way have all signed new contracts with the Welsh club.

All three players have extended their stays at Rodney Parade until 2017.

"It's important that we identify key players," Newport director of rugby Lyn Jones told the club's official website.

"All these players have potential and now have an opportunity to show consistency and improve on their skills this season.

"I am very pleased with the direction of Newport Gwent Dragons and it's crucial that we get the right people on board. These three players have big futures ahead of them in the game."

Newport return to league action on Friday when they make the trip to Glasgow Warriors.
