David Goffin has navigated his way past Horacio Zeballos to book a place in the second round at Wimbledon.
The number 16 seed took time to find his feet following a tightly-contested opener, but it was plain sailing from that point onwards as he secured a 7-6(4) 6-1 6-1 victory.
There was nothing to separate the pair in an enthralling opening set, with both players holding serve to pave the way for a tie-break which Goffin edged.
After grabbing a foothold in the contest, the Belgian stormed his way through the second set by breaking his opponent on a couple of occasions.
Zeballos, ranked at 128th in the world, was left with it all to do at this stage and things got even tougher when he failed to hold his service game in the first game of the final set.
Goffin was in no mood to allow the Argentine back into things, and he soon wrapped the set - and contest - up to see the job through in a straightforward manner in the end.
