Nicolas Mahut has advanced to round two of Wimbledon with a 6-3 5-7 6-7 7-5 6-2 victory over Paulo Lorenzi.
The pair had to resume action on Tuesday after their opening round match ran over, and it was Mahut who took control of the fifth set.
The Frenchman stormed into a one-set lead in the match, but lost the next two, one on a tie-break, as Lorenzi moved two-sets-to-one ahead.
However, Mahut rallied to take the fourth and secured two breaks of serve in the fifth to secure his spot in the next round.
